When it comes to a film about Spider-Man, I have certain feelings that he is awesome among Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and Hulk, my favorite superheroes. Spider-Man has always been unique for me if it is compared with the other characters who are billionaires, aliens or genetically modified human. He is just a normal, geeky and average person when he isn’t wearing costume. Since Halloween is getting closer, I am so excited and I think it is time to make my special cookie! Here I would like to share a very special one pan food related to Spider-man. It is one of my delicious Cast iron dessert recipeswhich will really be surprising when it is decorated with the M&Ms and web tube. Want to get magic power like Spiderman? Don’t need the spider to bite you. Just enjoy this beautifully sweet and tasty M&Ms Spiderweb Cookie Cake----the perfect creepy, crawly treat for Halloween. My cookie cakes are made with real butter, whole eggs, and vanilla. Shocking your kids or others by baking this super easy holiday dessert! And here is the recipe.
M&M Spiderweb Cookie Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Tube of black frosting or homemade chocolate frosting (for spiderweb)
Chocolate Frosting for Spiderweb
¼ cup butter (softened)
1½ Tablespoons cocoa powder
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon heavy cream or milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Black food coloring
2 eggs
2 sticksbutter (at room temperature)
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons flour
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup M & Ms(divided)
DIRECTIONS:

- Preheat oven to 375℉. Line a Cast iron skilletwith parchment and entiregrease pan and the paper. Set aside.
2.In a large bowl, use a hand-held mixer or stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment, beat the butter on medium speed until completely smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.Then add the brown sugar and beat on medium speed until creamy, place eggs into it and make it combine well. Then add vanilla and mix well.
- Put in flour, baking soda and salt. Stirthe dry ingredients till incorporated. Mix in semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup M & Ms. Spread dough evenly in prepared pan.Use remaining 1/2 cup M & Ms to decorate the top of the cookie cake.
- Put the pan into the oven and bake it for25 minutes until the surface turns into a golden brown color and the edge of the cookie is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and then cool for 5 minutes. Pipe on chocolate frosting as a spiderweb using a piping bag with a small corner snipped. Top with plastic spiders for effect if desired and then slice and serve.
Chocolate Frosting for Spiderweb
Stir together the butter and cocoa powder until they are smooth in a medium mixing bowl. Then add in the powdered sugar. Mix together then add in the heavy cream or milk and vanilla. You can add enough black food coloring to get desired black color.

This cookie cake is pretty much the most amazing dessert ever!And Ihave made this cake as a birthday “cake” for a friend of mine. He was totally shocked and really happy when seeing the cake. I also want to say this Spiderweb cookie cake is absolutely easy to make. All you need to do is mix together the cookie dough ingredients, press into a Cast iron skillet, bake, cool and decorate. This spider’s web cookie cake looks fabulous when it is decorated with M & Ms and tube. And it is a great choice for Halloween.The cookie cake is perfectly chewy and a little crispy on the edges. I took a bite and I could assure that it was so good that I was not willing to eat it. This recipe is absolutely perfect for a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake!
